A move that appeared out of nowhere on Friday has now been completed. Kiwior signs a long-term contract after joining the club from Serie A, where he spent one and a half seasons. The 22-year-old, who has nine caps for Poland and played extensively in Qatar, will provide crucial defensive cover to Gunners stalwart Gabriel Magalhaes, who has started 20 of the club’s 21 competitive matches this season.

Kiwior can also play at left-back and in a holding midfield role, demonstrating the versatility that Mikel Arteta looks for in his players. Arsenal beat out AC Milan and Juventus to sign the Poland international, who becomes the Gunners’ second signing of the transfer window following the recent signing of Leandro Trossard from Brighton.NYSC portal
