JUST IN: Workers Protest Police Recruitment, Close Headquarters
Members of staff of the Police Service Commission have shut down its headquarters in Abuja to protest the alleged takeover of ongoing recruitment of 10,000 constables by the force headquarters. SAHARAREPORTERS reports.

According to SAHARAREPORTERS, the staff are protesting the claimed takeover of the ongoing constable’s recruitment exercise, lack of staff promotion, and training by the management.
The workers had declared a showdown with the commission management led by Musiliu Smith, a retired Inspector-General of Police, whom they accused of surrendering the PSC constitutional mandate to the police. jamb results
