Mamelodi Sundowns women reclaim continental glory in style

Mamelodi Sundowns have  reclaimed their position as the leading team in African women’s football by securing a convincing 3-0 win against Morocco’s SC Casablanca in the CAF Women’s Champions League final. The match, held on Sunday in Cote d’Ivoire, saw the South African team make an impressive statement, winning the title without conceding a single goal throughout the tournament.

The historic victory at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo was largely thanks to the exceptional performance of Tholakele Refilwe, the tournament’s top goalscorer, who scored twice, and Boitumelo Rabale, who contributed a key goal. This win marked a significant achievement for the Sundowns, especially after losing the title to AS FAR last season.JAMB Portal
