Nottingham Forest supporters have been asking for James Garner to return to the City Ground after he was left out of Manchester United’s squad for their pre-season victory over Melbourne Victory.Information Guide Nigeria

The central midfielder is back with Erik ten Hag’s side after impressing for the Reds last season as they earned promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years.

United boss ten Hag had suggested the 21-year-old would be assessed during pre-season ahead of a decision on his future. However, he was not named for a second straight fixture as the Red Devils defeated Australian side Melbourne 4-1 thanks to goals from Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and an own goal.
