Manchester United Transfer Plans this summer

Manchester United is among the top English Premier League clubs. It is the eighth team in the league standing with 35 points. The club has made few transfers of late. It is struggling both in European tournaments and in the EPL. Betway provides team schedules and lineups for the Red Devils. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown interest in signing new players soon. The following are four players that Manchester United might transfer this summer.

1.     Raul Jimenez

Ole Gunnar has shown interest in Raul Jimenez. He plays as a striker for Wolverhampton. The Red Devils have been struggling to score goals this season. It suffered a huge blow when Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku left last summer. Still, Solskjaer believed that the remaining forwards would improve the club’s current league standing.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have been the attacking dual for United for a long time. Yet, the squad doesn’t handle intense pressure from most tough opponents. Manchester is lacking a center forward. Raul is Gunnar’s main target after he failed to sign Mario Mandzukic and Erling Braut Haaland.

2.     Ruben Neves

Ruben is a talented Portuguese footballer who plays for the Portugal national teams and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves signed him for an undisclosed fee on July 8, 2017, and he reunited with Nuno Espirito Santo. The Portuguese midfielder scored the first goal for Wolverhampton on August 15, 2017, against Hull City. Many gamblers who engage in Betway sports betting made a huge profit when Wolves beat Hull City 3-2 in an away game.

Neves was nominated for the Young Player of the Season and the EFL Championship Player of the Season awards in April 2018. He was part of the Team of the Season with John Ruddy and Conor Coady. Raul made 42 appearances and scored six goals for his team that season. He received the EFL Goals of the Year Award on April 7, 2019. Wolverhampton extended Raul’s contract until 2023. Rumors claim that although Ole Gunnar is interested in signing Raul, the Wolves’ midfielder isn’t excited about joining United.

3.     James Maddison

James Daniel is a 24-year footballer who plays for the England national team and Leicester City. He started his professional career with Coventry City in 2014. Norwich City signed him on February 1, 2016, for an undisclosed fee and on a three and a half year deal. The club loaned him to Coventry City for the rest of the 2015/2016 season. He joined Leicester City on a five-year contract on June 20, 2018. The attacking midfielder scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Huddersfield Town, and AFC Bournemouth.

4.     Jack Grealish

Manchester United has been negotiating with Aston Villa and Jack about his possible transfer. Recent reports state that the two sides have already made a contract. But, Aston Villa might not release Jack since it is struggling in the Premier League.

Manchester United has participated in the Premier League for 45 consecutive seasons. Also, it takes part in the UEFA Europa League and the FA Cup. The club fired José Mourinho in March 2019 and replaced him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He appointed Harry Maguire as the club captain in January 2020 after Ashley Young joined Inter Milan. EPL fans can wager on Manchester United at Betway.
