Career in the club
Akpan was named to the Chelsea senior squad for the first time on November 23, 2022, when she was named to the bench in a 2-0 UEFA Women’s Champions League win over Real Madrid Femenino.
On March 19, 2023, she made her debut as a second-half substitute for Sophie Ingle in a 3-1 Women’s FA Cup win over Reading.

Akpan is eligible to play for Poland by virtue of her birthplace, Nigeria by virtue of her Nigerian father, and England by virtue of her nationality. She represented the latter at the under-16 level.

Akpan was born in Warsaw to a Polish mother and a Nigerian father, and her family later relocated to England. She is the sister of Ashley Akpan, another professional footballer.JAMB Result
