According to GIZCHINA, both of these tech giants, Huawei and Samsung have already launched their foldable phones. For instance, Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy Fold3 and the Z Flip3 foldable smartphones. Oppo, on the other hand, is still keeping details about its foldable phone’s launch date under the wraps. Much to Oppo’s chagrin, new leaks have divulged the battery specifications of the company’s upcoming foldable device.

OPPO FOLD BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Fold could offer 65W fast charging support. Most of Oppo’s flagship and premium smartphones support 65W fast charging. In other words, the Oppo Fold will be the latest flagship offering from Oppo. Considering that a 4,500 mAh battery will be quite large, Oppo will have to adopt some optimization tricks to make sure that the Fold offers a long battery life.

GIZCHINA reports that previously surfaced reports suggest that the Oppo Fold will sport a mammoth 7.8-inch or an 8-inch display. Aside from that, the phone could feature an AMOLED panel that delivers a 2K resolution. Moreover, the display will be offering a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Jamb Result

The phone will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It could ship with 12GB of RAM and offer 256GB and 512GB of onboard storage capacity.

According to GIZCHINA, the phone could house a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera. The Find X3 Pro and the latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus use the same sensor. Upfront, the Oppo foldable phone could house a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling.

It is still unclear whether Oppo will use an under-screen camera system for its foldable device. Nevertheless, the side edge will house a fingerprint scanner. The phone will run Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 12 atop.
