The head of the vigilante group in Danmusa LGA, Katsina State, Mallam Nabanje has been killed and his house set ablaze by terrorists late Sunday night. DAILY POST reports.

He said: “The hoodlums arrived in the community in a large number and proceeded to the residence of our vigilante commander.
“They blocked all routes to avoid him escaping. After a painstaking search, they found him under a tree where they engaged him in a gun duel until he ran out of ammunition and was rounded up when he sought refuge in a compound where he was butchered.”NYSC Portal
Spokesman of Katsina Police Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq confirmed the report though he said the report got to the police late due to a downpour and poor network experienced on the day of the attack.
