This is to inform all students of the Rivers State University that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. The schedule of some important events are as follows;

- Monday, 8th January, 2024: Arrival of returning students
- Monday, 18th December, 2023: Online registration for all students begins
- Monday, 23rd December, 2023 – Saturday, 6th January, 2024: Christmas Break
- Monday, 15th January, 2024: 2023/2024 academic session first semester lectures commences for all students
- Monday, 26th February, 2024 – Friday, 1st March, 2024: Orientation for fresh students
- Friday, 1st March, 2024: Online registration for all students ends
- Wednesday, 6th March, 2024: Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students of the academic session
- Friday, 29th March, 2024: First Semester Lectures ends for all students except Year 1 students.
