Nigerian Govt. Declares War Against Commercial Sex Workers In Abuja, arrests 26 prostitutes

 The Nigerian Government has declared war against commercial sex workers and the operators of hotels in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Information Guide Nigeria

Malam Sani the acting Director, Social Welfare Services, disclosed this when he led a team of security operatives to get rid of a brothel.

According to him, the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu had instructed the social development secretariat to clean the entire city and ensure that all human nuisances such as commercial street workers and brothels are put on a halt.

According to Amar, not less than 27 commercial sex workers were arrested and handed over to the police for prosecution.
