The Lagos State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reported a significant number of road accidents in Lagos State for the period between January and October 2023.InformationGuideNigeria
According to the Sector Commander, Babatunde Farinloye, during an interview with PUNCH Online, the state witnessed 376 road accidents that tragically resulted in the loss of 128 lives.

“People need to prepare when they are travelling and make sure they perform routine checks on their vehicles. They should also avoid overspeeding while driving,” he said.
“The problem with the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is not about bad roads, the road is smooth and people are supposed to be experiencing quality travel time. I would like to implore travellers to obey traffic rules and avoid calling while driving.
“Another issue we are experiencing is the issue of speeding. Most motorists do not ensure a proper routine check of their vehicles and to avoid accidents they are meant to do that frequently.”
He stated that the FRSC officers will ensure safety on roads across the state.JAMB Result
