Ondo: COVID-19 Vaccine Compulsory For Civil Servants

The Government of Ondo State has enforced compulsory vaccination on civil servants.

THIS DAY reports that this was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Segun Odusanya in Akure.

Mr Segun Odusanya said that from November 1, civil servants will be required to present their COVID-19 vaccination cards before entering their workplaces. Jamb Result

Odusanya said, “The directive would be enforced as from Nov.1 with compliance to all the COVID-19 protocols by the civil servants in the state.

As reported by THIS DAY, Odunsaya said the enforcement is done in order to protect staff which is not yet over adding that the pandemic has a deadly variant. Information Guide Nigeria

He added that Civil Servants should prioritise checking of blood pressure, blood sugar, and others regularly adding that certain diseases could be prevented by being careful.
