“Christian Bob Onyere came to me for help while I was processing papers to travel. He then told me to marry his daughter so that when I finally travel out, I will come back to take his family with me,” he said.

During crossexamination, Abimbola Abolade, the prosecuting attorney, reminded the defendant that the first victim testified that he only asked for her hand in marriage after she reported him to her parents for having sexual relations with her.

This was contested by the defence attorney, and Justice I.A. Soladoye upheld the objection.

The prosecution attorney then inquired whether Anyanwu was aware that the sisters had given birth since becoming pregnant, to which he responded affirmatively.Jamb Result
