Speaking in a press briefing with newsmen, the Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state said: “By the grace of God we shall work assiduously towards winning Anambra election”.

As reported by TheGuardian, the meeting which was recently held in Abuja had in attendance PDP Governors from Bauchi, Rivers, Adamawa, Benue, Oyo, Enugu, Edo, Delta, Taraba, and Bayelsa states and past Governors like Ahmed Makarfi of Kaduna, Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Ibrahim Shema of Katsina, Idris Ibrahim of Kogi, Ibrahim Dankwambo of Kebbi, Liyel Imoke of Cross River and other stakeholders of the party.

TheGuardian reports that the governors also discussed the party’s elective national convention scheduled for Oct. 30 in Abuja.
