The Peoples Democratic Party‘s Board of Trustees will meet with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt on Tuesday as part of efforts to address the turmoil that has engulfed the party.
The meeting will be conducted at Port Harcourt’s State Government House at noon (12pm).

Wike’s men and the governors of Enugu, Abia, Benue, and Oyo, as well as some of the state’s most influential PDP stakeholders, are slated to attend the meeting.
Governor Wike and a number of southern governors, according to The PUNCH, boycotted Atiku Abubakar’s campaign launch.
As the 2023 elections approach, it is anticipated that discussions at the meeting would focus on finding a common ground to appease Wike and his men.
