Nigeria is a very diverse entity with a lot of tribes and clans, however, the country can be divided into three major tribes, the Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba. Over the years of coexistence, the three tribes have grown to hate each other, they basically just tolerate themselves. However, this animosity has led to a lot of political, social, and economic problems for the country and most of the tribes have blamed the next tribe for their woes and situation.

With this many issues, a lot of tribes have been forced to be aggressive toward the state, their neighbours, or themselves. It is mostly every man for himself and this trait is the basics of this article.

1. Fulani Tribe

A dominant tribe in Nigeria known for their nomadic lifestyle. The Fulani tribe is topping our list because of so many killings and atrocities that have been linked to them. They have been involved in a lot of illicit crimes both within and outside Nigeria and they have managed to create a bad reputation all in the name of money.

6. Yoruba Tribe

If there is one thing the Yoruba people are known for, it’s their cunning attitude. Till date, the Igbo still think Yorubas can‘t be trusted, and in a way, they are right. This tribe has been involved in so many stealing, kidnapping, rapping, fraud, ritual related incidents amongst others.
