2.) Senior Communication Officer

Qualifications

7.) Finance Associate

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Rivers

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • S/he will assist with the processing of financial transactions.
  • S/he will assist in ensuring that financial transactions and reconciliations are processed in line with relevant policies and procedures.
  • S/he will assist in ensuring financial reports are timely provided according to financial guidelines.
  • S/he will assist in maintaining financial records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditures, balances, payments, statements, and other data for day-to-day transactions and reports.
  • S/he will assist in selecting and entering data from a wide variety of documents, verifying accuracy by checking sources, and making necessary calculations, and corrections.
  • S/he will assist in advising staff members on all aspects of travel claims and other financial matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A First Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline and a post-graduate qualification in Lab sciences with a minimum of seven (7) years post-NYSC
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health, Epidemiology, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, and/or Midwifery, an MPH, MBBS, Medical, or other relevant master’s degree will be an added advantage

9.) Health System Strengthening Specialist

Location: Abuja and Rivers

Job Description

  • S/he will provide capacity building needs support and on-the-job mentoring/coaching to the Team members at the community level to ensure that Health System strengthening initiatives are implemented according to the approved project work plans and per donor requirements
  • S/he will coordinate quarterly program strategic review meetings of all key stakeholders including Community health workers and other implementing partners.
  • S/he will strengthen the integration of HIV services into broader health interventions across supported communities to enhance program sustainability.
  • S/he will facilitate the development and implementation of annual HIV work plans with strategic and key programmatic activities
  • S/he will lead in coordinating the delivery of a comprehensive quality primary health care package at the community level
  • S/he will support the Primary Health Care workers in drafting, reviewing, approving, and executing quality improvement plans.
  • S/he will be responsible for tracking the performance of the project activities and targets against the expected results and coordinate with the Primary health workers to fast-track the implementation process to ensure the project is progressing toward the set deliverables.
  • S/he will conduct a joint monthly review of facility performance to ensure that communities are supported to meet the criteria for readiness to deliver a comprehensive Primary health care package.
  • S/he will provide capacity building and on-job coaching to community staff on HIV, TB, PMTCT, reproductive, maternal neonatal, child, and adolescent health, Antenatal care, delivery care, postnatal care, STI counseling and treatment, and SGBV services in the community, with emphasis on improving quality of care
  • S/he will support community-level reporting by providing on-the-job mentoring and reviews of data collected from the entry points for consistency and quality and flag any discrepancies to ensure Quality Data Assurance (DQA)
  • S/he will support field assessments and dissemination activities as required. – Technical support to M&E Teams to collect appropriate baseline data over the life of the project.
  • S/he will ensure that all required health inventory checks are conducted, and all variances reconciled

Qualifications / Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Public Health or any related field
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health, Epidemiology, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, and/or Midwifery, an MPH, MBBS, Medical, or other relevant master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • At least 7 years of experience in health systems strengthening
  • Knowledge of health systems strengthening frameworks, policies, and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity building, training, and mentorship of health workers.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian health system is an added advantage.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including professional-level English language skills, presentation, and reporting skills.

10.) Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) Valuator

Location: Abuja

Valuation – Scope of Work: ANNEXURE – I
In estimating the market value for the WEWE’s PPE, the Valuer shall:

  • Identify and describe the property being valued.
  • Carry out due diligence and review of the Plant and machinery and Review of physical encumbrances, if any.
  • Collect information and conduct due diligence on matters like market information, quotations, and offers of similar assets sold.
  • State any assumptions or limiting conditions that may affect the analysis, opinions, and conclusions.
  • Provide sufficient information to permit those who read and rely on the report to fully understand the data, reasoning, analyses, and conclusions underlying Asset Valuer’s findings and opinions.
  • Completely and understandably set forth the valuation report in a manner, which will be comprehensive, accurate, and not in any manner misleading.
  • The Valuer will be responsible for generating a draft report and making detailed presentations on the subject matter as may be required by WEWE.
  • Post presentation, the Valuer, shall, if required, incorporate the suggestions as may be requested by WEWE or provide for any other additional clarification that may be required. The final deliverable shall be a final Valuation Report, incorporating any change(s)/ modification(s) as may be suggested above.
  • The Valuer shall calculate the Fair Value, Distress Sale Value, and Liquidation Value on both a ‘Piece-Meal’ and ‘Scrap Value’ basis and provide details of the methodology followed for the same. The Valuer shall also advise on the Reserve Price for the asset.
  • The Valuer shall carry out the valuation of personal movable and immovable assets as per the details provided by the organization.

Notes
In addition to the above scope of work, the Valuation Report should, inter alia provide the following:

  • Approach and methodology followed.
  • Valuer assessment on the aspects mentioned above and other considerations taken in the valuation of assets and how these have been considered in arriving at the values.
  • Fair value of the fixed assets covering plant and machinery and other fixed assets including motor vehicles and office equipment, indicating the following:
  • Plant and machinery- Specifications, condition, computation of fair value (Such as details regarding current costs, depreciation for past usage, additional cost required for repair and renovations, etc.)
  • Other Fixed Assets: Specifications, condition, depreciation for past usage, and additional cost required for repair and renovation, values arrived at concerning various sources/ methods.
  • Any other matter which the Valuer in his judgment should feel worth indicating.
  • Replacement Value and Realizable Value for the above assets must be shown separately. If in the opinion of the Valuer, certain assets are likely to realize only scrap value, the same should be indicated with suitable justifications.
  • Advise on the Reserve Price of the asset.
