This is to inform candidates who are interested in enrolling for admission into the Certificate programme in Caregiving at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital that the forms are available and registration is ongoing. Details of the requirements and how to apply have been provided below in this post.

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja is commencing its CAREGIVER ACADEMY for the training of Carers. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to train as Carers, in the 2024 academic session. This is a 3 months full-time Certificate Programme.

LASUTH Admission into Certificate in Caregiving

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following qualifications or equivalents: Five (5) O’ Level Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.

AGE CRITERIA: He/She must be between 25-45years. LASUTH Admission into Certificate Course in Caregiving

DURATION OF COURSE

This is a 3 month full time course, at the end of which the successful trainees will acquire a certificate. There is also an option of international certification with a UK caregiver academy at an extra cost.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested and qualified candidates should obtain an application form at the Administrative Office, MRC Building, LASUTH. Completed application forms should be submitted along with photocopies of applicant’s credentials, curriculum vitae (CV), two (2) recent passport photographs on a white background, WAEC/SSCE/NECO certificate or printout of result slip.

Applications should be addressed to: The Chief Medical Director, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), 1-5, Oba Akinjobi Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.

Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, for screening purposes. Successful candidates will be invited to provide their original copies of relevant certificates for screening during an oral interview.

NOTE: Application form closes on Friday, 23rd of February, 2024.
