Yobe State University wishes to inform the students and the entire university community that the academic calendar for 2023/2024 session has been published. This action is to intimate students about the upcoming activities in the school and their dates. students are by this notice to check the calendar and walk in accordance with the schedule of activities. See details of the academic calendar below.

This is to inform all students of the Yobe State University that the school management has released the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. The full academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session has also been provided on the school’s noticeboard, students are to visit and get a copy:

The schedule of some important events for the session are as follows;

FIRST SEMESTER

• 27th November 2023: Resumption of new and returning students

• 6th December, 2023: ETTC Meeting & Approval of Lectures Timetable

• 8th January, 2024: Commencement of Lectures

• 18th December, 2023: Commencement of late registration

• 30th December, 2023: End of late registration

• 15th January, 2024: Commencement of Add & Drop

• 27th January, 2024: End of Add & Drop

• 15th April, 2024: First Semester Examination commences

• 11th May, 2024: First Semester Examination ends

SECOND SEMESTER

• 27th May, 2024: ETTC Meeting & Approval of Timetable

• 27th May, 2024: Second semester lectures commences

• 31st August, 2024: Second semester lectures ends

• 2nd September, 2024: Second Semester Examination commences

• 21st September, 2024: Second Semester Examination ends.
