Liverpool had been reportedly interested in Soler this summer with Jurgen Klopp recently revealing that the Reds will look to sign a midfielder in the final days of the market with the Premier League side currently lacking in numbers in the position, with Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita all out on the injury table.
Although Liverpool won a club-record 9-0 against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, fans are hopeful that the Merseyside giants can bring in one new fresh face before the closure of the window, and Soler could have been the perfect player to fix Klopp’s midfield problems with the squad.
