Court Adjourns Kanu’s Case To January 18

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra case has been adjourned until January 18, 2022, after his lawyers approached the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court for an abridgement of time.

Justice Binta Nyako informed Mr Kanu’s lawyers that there was no earlier date than January 18 next year. Peoplesgazette reports.

Last month, the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court adjourned the trial of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu until January 19, 2022. Mr Kanu, who has been agitating for the South-East secession, was arrested in June in Nairobi, Kenya.
