Reason I Did Not Attend Last Sitting Of Coroner’s Inquest – Sylvester’s Father

Sylvester Oromoni, father of the deceased 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lagos State, has explained why he was not at the last sitting of the coroner’s inquest into the controversial death of his son. SAHARA REPORTERS reports.

The sitting was held some days ago at the Epe Magistrate Court, Lagos State.

The father, Oromoni, should have appeared as a witness at the last sitting of the coroner’s inquest which is now before Magistrate Mikhail Kadiri. He was, however, absent.

In an interview with Punch, Oromoni said he decided not to appear because the other party had failed to file their witness statements on oath. Information Guide Nigeria

“We filed our witness statements on oath but the other party has failed to file theirs.

“We don’t want a situation whereby they have access to our own witness statements and we don’t have access to their own. This will not allow us to be prepared”. jamb results

The matter is expected to come up on Monday, January 31, for further hearing.
