Court grants Chrisland permission to conduct independent autopsy on deceased

The court has granted permission to the Chrisland School to conduct an independent evaluation of the autopsy on the remains of Whitney Adeniran.Information Guide Nigeria

DAILY POST reports that Magistrate Olabisi Fajana granted the permission while ruling on an application filed by Chrisland School to enable it to consult an independent pathologist on items obtained from the corpse by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).JAMB Result

These items include the student’s blood and other body fluids, skin sample, samples of bone and muscle taken from the deceased, and samples of urine collected for the autopsy.JAMB Portal

Chrisland School further requested all photographs taken during the conduct of the autopsy, copies of all histology slides reported as part of the post-mortem examination, results of all toxicology tests conducted on the late student, and other documents made in the course of the autopsy.

As reported by the DAILY POST, the parent of the deceased is expected to testify in the case on the 17th of April.
