Elon Musk tells Twitter staff to work long hours or leave
Elon Musk has reportedly informed Twitter employees that they either commit to working “long hours at high intensity” or leave the company.Information Guide Nigeria
According to the Washington Post, the new owner of the social media company stated in an email to employees that they must sign the pledge if they wish to remain.

The BBC has reached out to Twitter for a comment.
In his email to staff, also seen by The Guardian, Mr Musk said that Twitter “will need to be extremely hardcore” in order to succeed.
“This will mean working long hours at high intensity. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade,” he said.

Following his acquisition of the company, a number of key Twitter executives also resigned.
According to reports, the entrepreneur informed Twitter employees last week that remote work would no longer be permitted and that “tough times” lay ahead.
Bloomberg reported that in an email to employees, the owner of a social media company stated that employees would be required to work at least 40 hours each week.
Mr. Musk added that there was “no way to sugarcoat the message” that the slowing global economy would have a negative impact on Twitter’s advertising revenue.
Sarah Kunst, a tech investor, asserts that Mr. Musk’s acquisition of the company has burdened it with debt.
She stated that his conduct since the acquisition has also prompted several marketers to halt spending.
“He’s now trying to inflict that pain and uncertainty on the employees,” she said.
She added that there was a question mark over how enforceable Mr Musk’s email about hours to staff really was.
