How to Send NIN to MTN via the MyMTN App

To send your NIN number to MTN via MyMTN App, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to the MTN official NIN page via https://mtnonline.com/NIN/ and download MyMTN app
  2. After downloading the app, install and launch it
  3. Enter your phone number to register on the app
  4. On the home page of app, click on “Update NIN
  5. Enter your 11-digit NIN number into the required column
  6. Enter your MTN phone number into the required column
  7. Click on “Submit
  8. An OTP code will be sent to your MTN line
  9. Enter the OTP code you received into the space provided
  10. Click on “SubmitNpower recruitment

How to Send NIN to MTN via MTN-NIM Portal

If you don’t want to download the MyMTN App, you can still send your NIN to MTN via the MTN-NIM portal. To do so, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to the official MTN-NIM portal via https://mtnonline.com/nim/
  2. Complete and fill the form displayed on the screen with your correct details
  3. After completing the form, click on “Submit
  4. An OTP code will be sent to the MTN line
  5. Enter the OTP code you received into the space provided
  6. Click on “ConfirmWAEC result

Congratulations! You have successfully sent your NIN to MTN.

How to Retrieve Your NIN From MTN

If you’ve lost your NIN number, you can retrieve it easily from MTN. To do so, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to the call/phone app on your mobile phone
  2. Enter the code *346# using your MTN number and dial it
  3. After dialling the code, several options will be displayed on the screen
  4. Select “NIN retrieval” from the list of options by typing the number 1
  5. Keep in mind that the procedure will cost you a fee of NGN 20 only, to be completed. The fee will be deducted from your airtime balance.
