Resign If You Have Political Ambition – Abiodun Tells Appointees

The Governor of Ogun State, Mr. Dapo Abiodun, has directed all serving political appointees in the state that have political ambitions in 2023 to resign on or before Jan 31, 2022. Information Guide Nigeria

As reported by THIS DAY, Abiodun revealed this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kunle Somorin.

THIS DAY reports that the Governor said that directive had become necessary to avoid observed distractions and loss of focus in the discharge of their responsibilities.

While describing their ambition as legitimate, the governor also added: “As an administration unwaveringly committed to delivering on its electoral promises, any activity that is capable of undermining the implementation of the Building Our Future Together Agenda of the administration will not be tolerated.” Jamb Result

He stressed that those who could not wait till the appropriate time for the 2023 electioneering process should pursue their ambitions without constituting a clog in the wheel of the implementation of government programmes and activities in the state.
