
Rural Students Receive 300 Bicycles In Borno
The Government of Borno State on Wednesday distributed free bicycles to students in rural areas of the state.
According to DAILY TRUST, this is done by the Borno State Government in order to improve access to schools.

The presentation was done shortly after commissioning the school to improve access in addition to free textbooks. Information Guide Nigeria
Government Technical Secondary School, Wuyo was part of the 22 projects being commissioned in the southern Borno senatorial zone.
According to DAILY TRUST, governor Zulum said the bicycles were procured by the previous administration of Governor Kashim Shettima to improve access to students in rural schools. Jamb Result
Speaking, the governor’s spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, noted that the 22 projects include 13 newly established and rehabilitated secondary and primary schools; six primary healthcare centres, and three municipal buildings comprising two police stations and a government lodge as well as a shopping complex.
DAILY TRUST reports that according to the statement, the projects are sited in villages and towns of Hawul, Shani, Bayo, and Kwaya Kusar local government areas in Borno State.
