How to Check the Status of your NIMC ID card using Your Tracking ID

The main use of the NIMC tracking ID is to track the progress of your NIMC ID card. You can use the tracking ID to check if your NIMC card is available for collection. To check the status of your NIMC card, follow the procedures below:How to Get NYSC Call-Up Number

  1. Go to your internet browser and visit the webpage; http://touch.nimc.gov.ng/
  2. Click on “Proceed” icon on the portal
  3. Enter your correct first and last name into the required columns
  4. Enter your 11-digit NIN number into the space provided
  5. Enter your NIMC tracking ID into the space provided
  6. Click on “Submit

You will receive a notification indicating the status of your NIMC ID card.

How to Check NIN Number on MTN

Although you cannot use the NIMC tracking ID to check your NIN number, you don’t need to go through all that trouble just to find your NIN number. Did you know you can find your NIN using your mobile phone and SIM card? See procedures below:Npower Recruitment

  1. Tap on the call/phone app on your mobile phone
  2. Dial *346# using your MTN, Glo, Airtel, or 9mobile SIM on your phone
  3. You will see a list of options displayed on the phone screen
  4. Select “NIN Retrieval” from the list of options by tapping on “1”
  5. Also, keep in mind that you will be charged NGN 20 for the procedure. The charge will be deducted from the airtime balance on your SIM card.
  6. After the airtime has been deducted, your NIN number will be displayed on the screen.
  7. You can now copy out your NIN number.

How to Verify NIN Number Online

If you’re looking for a way to verify your NIN number, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to the official NIN Verification Portal via https://nimc.gov.ng/nimc-verification-service/
  2. Navigate to “Verify NIN” and click on it
  3. Enter your unique NIN number into the space provided
  4. After entering your NIN, type in the security code below into the required column
  5. Click on “SubmitJAMB Form
  6. You will receive a message indicating if your NIN has been verified or not.
  7. If your NIN has not been verified, then visit the nearest NIMC office with your NIN number to get your NIN verified.

You can also confirm if your NIN has been verified by linking it to your SIM card. If the process is successful, then your NIN has been verified by NIMC.
