Senate Sets Deadline For Reports On 2022 Budget

The House of Senate has set a deadline for Committees to submit reports on the 2022 budget.

According to RIPLLES NIGERIA, Senate has issued an ultimatum to its various committees to submit their reports to its Appropriation Department on or before November 24.

This was contained in the approved timetable for the consideration of the 2022 Appropriation Bill which has been released by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Barau Jubril.

According to RIPPLE NIGERIA, submission and defence of budget reports by sub-committees will start from November 10 and end on November 24, 2021, while the collation and harmonisation of reports by the Appropriations Committee will begin on November 25 and end on December 7, 2021.
