
Seven Killed, Others Injured As Suspected Herdsmen Attack Village In Taraba
Not less than seven persons have been killed in Nega village of Donada ward by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the Lau local government council of Taraba state. Information Guide Nigeria
According to SAHARA REPORTERS, the attack happened on Tuesday night around 9pm, leaving many villagers injured.

In a source statement, “The gunmen whom from their looks appeared to be herders took our people by surprise last night.”
He added that the dead people, as at the time of filing this report, were not buried while the injured are responding to treatment in the few available health facilities in the council.

Abdullahi Usman, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) has however said that the attack did not take place in Taraba but in the neighbouring state of Adamawa.
He said, “The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in the area said the attacked took place in Adamawa and not in Taraba state”. jamb results
But a senior employee of the local government council has expressed shock at the police’s statement, insisting that the community is in Taraba State.
