Sexual Abuse: Prince Andrew Settles Lawsuit

The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, has accepted to settle in the U.S. lawsuit where Virginia Giuffre accused him of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager.Information Guide Nigeria

According to filings in Manhattan federal court, the settlement was reached on Tuesday and included an undisclosed payment.

PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that lawyers for Ms Giuffre and Mr Andrew said their settlement in principle called for the duke to make a “substantial donation” to Ms Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.

The document stated, “Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks”.Jamb Result

According to PEOPLE GAZETTE, both parties expect to file to dismiss the case within the next 30 days, when Giuffre confirms receipt of the settlement, according to David Boies, an attorney for Ms Giuffre.
