We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Design Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (DMEL) Coordinator

Location: Rivers

Experience and Qualification

  • University Degree is required; University Degree in International Development, Social Science, Economics, or related field is desired. (Masters will be an added advantage)
  • Additional education in conflict management and Monitoring and Evaluation

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in field monitoring, evaluation design, empirical and statistical analysis, management information systems and/or information management design is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and working with international donor Projects PMEL/MLE systems.
  • Experience in supporting and monitoring field-based programs in Nigeria
  • Experience in using appropriate strategies  in determining direct and in-direct beneficiaries reached by Search Projects in the States
  • Experience in working with Beneficiary Response and Feedback Mechanisms managing databases and coordinating evaluations, surveys, and impact monitoring.
  • Demonstrable experience developing Dashboard Professional training in project management or MEAL.

Other Relevant Requirements:

  • Collaborative working style that enables coaching and training in M&E principles and best-practices
  • Good knowledge of the local languages will be an asset.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. is required.

  • Knowledge of data software such as Kobo, ODK,  SPSS power-bi;

2.) Procurement, Admin, and Logistics (PAL) Officer – Nigerian Youth CARE

Location: Bauchi

Qualifications ( Education)

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Management, Procurement

Required Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years ́ professional experience providing administrative, logistical and/or operational support
  • Experience working in an NGO or civil society is a plus
  • Experience working with little or no supervision

Other Relevant Requirements:

  • Resident in Bauch state is an added advantage
  • Proven interest & commitment to humanitarian and development principles and a demonstrable understanding of conflict/post-conflict development contexts
  • Excellent in English (oral and written)
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; team player and effective communicator,

  • Good reporting capacity and experience

3.) Logistics Assistant – (Project Driver)

Education

  • Secondary School or a National diploma in any field

4.) Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Location: Niger

Education and Experience

  • A University in International Development, Social Science, Economics, or a related field is required as a minimal qualification for this role.
  • Additional education in conflict management, transformation, and Monitoring and Evaluation may be required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field implementing monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities.
  • The role also requires one with basic skills in descriptive statistics using SPSS or Excel software, and management information systems.
  • Experience in supporting and monitoring field-based programs in Nigeria
  • Experience in using appropriate strategies in determining direct and in-direct beneficiaries reached by Search Projects in the State and reporting using provided ITT.
  • Experience in implementing the different channels of communication of the Beneficiary Feedback and Response Mechanisms and ensuring the feedback is reported and captured in the BFRM Registry.
  • Professional training in MEAL and Digital Peace Peacebuilding will be an added advantage.

5.) Roving DMEL Coordinator

Location: Abuja

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in the designing Indicator Tracking Template for all Projects in the Organization and work closely with the DMEL leads at State levels to roll out the ITT and use it to develop Organizational Quarterly Dashboard that will feed into project reports to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Head of DMEL to design and roll out a Beneficiary Response and Feedback mechanism that has a clear and appropriate channel of communication that suits each audience.
  • Support the Head of DMEL by collaborating with programme teams to develop an indicator reference sheet for project indicators in line with Search and Donor MEAL Standards and train staff to use it to inform project reporting.
  • Support to carry out data quality assurances and submit a report to the Head of DMEL with clear recommendations on how data quality in the organization can be improved. Upon approved of recommended strategy or any other that may be suggested, the Roving DMEL Coordinator will be responsible for building the capacity of programme Staff on how data in the organization should be improved., and the validated data used for reporting.
  • Ensure the state team is aware of and up to date on all DMEL tasks and reports.
  • Conduct site visits during the project implementation phase in assigned areas.
  • In concert with the DMEL Manager, develop Monitoring and Evaluation plans for field-level
  • Identify lessons learned, constraints, and project impacts based on determined theme and/or sector for inclusion in Monthly and Quarterly Reports.
  • Share observations from monitoring visits with DMEL Manager when findings demonstrate questionable actions.

Qualifications

7.) Project Officer (Digital Peacebuilding)

Locations: Plateau and Bauchi

Education

  • A Degree in Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, Peacebuilding, Conflict Management, or related field
  • Additional education in conflict management, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 year’s experience as a Project Officer, two of those years should be in the non-profit and NGO sector in relevant topics (as per the above-mentioned list) for a diverse range of audiences (from communities to authorities);
  • Understanding of and experience in the use of Google Analytics, real-time monitoring and tracking, and utilization of social media platforms for peacebuilding.
  • In-depth knowledge of the conflict and FoRB context in Bauchi, Plateau, and Gombe State

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrate integrity and promote Search values and ethical standards;
  • Promote the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of Search;
  • Demonstrate capacity to adapt to a multicultural context, tolerance, and respect for issues related to gender, religion, race, and nationality;
