Shoprite, popular market closed down in Akure
Ondo State Government has closed down Shoprite and the neighbourhood market in Akure, the Ondo State capital. Information Guide Nigeria
These facilities were sealed on Monday by the Ondo State Waste Management Authority, ODSWMA, over what was described as unsanitary and unhealthy practices.

The General Manager of the Authority Mrs. Ayo Adeyemo said the owners of the affected facilities has violated environmental laws and failed to comply with the laid down hygienic principles.
