State Of Emergency: Buhari Reacts To Malami Declaration

The President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the statement by Attorney General Abubakar Malami threatening to declare a state of emergency in Anambra state. Information Guide Nigeria

According to Governor Willie Obiano, he had reported the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, to the President on the matter and the threat was not Buhari’s idea.

Obiano revealed this to State House Correspondents after a meeting with the president in the Aso Rock, Abuja.

The Governor also said it was quite unfortunate, and why he had not contemplated the declaration of emergency rule in north-central during massive killings by banditry and unknown gunmen. jamb results

As reported by PM News, in Obiano’s words: “That’s a very unfortunate comment by the Attorney-General. Malami.

“Very unfortunate. I also reported that to the President and this is not in the books of the President because he knows that Anambra has been the safest state in Nigeria for seven years plus,” he said.
