Submit Yourself To EFCC ― ALGON IMC Tells Hon Alabi

The Interim Management Committee, IMC, of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, has called on Hon. Alabi Kolade to submit himself to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC over the alleged diversion of N5.2B ALGON funds. Information Guide Nigeria

According to VANGUARD, the Interim Management Committee of ALGON made this call in a statement in Abuja.

VANGUARD reports that Hon. Alabi Kolade has allegedly been avoiding arrest after redirecting funds that were meant for the development of ALGON. Jamb Result

In a report filed by VANGUARD, the association stated that Hon. Alabi Kolade refused the invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) adding that he impersonated as the leadership of the association and diverted over 5.2 billion naira belonging to the 774 local government areas of the association.

It could be recalled that earlier that erstwhile National President, ALGON was ordered by a court not to parade himself as the leadership of the association after it was discovered that he is an LCDA chairman in Lagos State and not a local government chairman of any of the 774 local government as stipulated in the constitution as one of the requirements for the presidential position in ALGON.

VANGUARD reveals that no one has seen or heard from Hon. Alabi Kolade.
