Super Eagles’ value rises from €256m to €303m

The Super Eagles have risen in the latest financial rankings of national teams despite not qualifying for the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.Information Guide Nigeria

The three-time African champions are classified as the fifteenth most valuable international team in the world, while advancing from the third position in Africa to the top spot on the continent.

The Eagles are one of the world’s most valuable teams, with a total value of €303.35m, due to the presence of players who compete in Europe’s lucrative leagues.

The value of the Nigerian squad rose by €46.7 million since its previous valuation.

Alex Iwobi, a forward for Everton, saw his worth climb from €22 million to €25 million.

While Samuel Chukwueze’s market value remains at €20 million, other players like as Terem Moffi, Joe Aribo, and Calvin Bassey contributed to the team’s value increase with a total €48 million.JAMB portal

Maduka Okoye’s value has continued to rise since he became the first player in his career to earn a million dollars, when he went from €900,000 to €1 million, despite his inactivity since joining Watford.

Currently, the goalie is valued at €2.5 million.

Paul Onuachu, a forward for Genk, saw a €7m reduction in market worth. In comparison to his initial market worth of €22 million, he is currently valued at €15 million.

The Eagles have risen to 15th place internationally and are the most valued team on the continent due to the growth in worth of a number of their players.

Senegal, formerly the most valuable African team and fourteenth in the world with a value of €321.40m, are now fourth in Africa and twenty-fourth in the world with a team value of €221.50m.

With a market value of €259 million, Ivory Coast ranks second in Africa and nineteenth globally, while Morocco and Ghana hold the third and fifth spots, respectively.
