Two Killed, Many Kidnapped As Bandits Block Popular Abuja Road

Terrorist bandits have killed two passengers and kidnapped many others during an operation on the Bwari-Jere road close to Bwari town in Abuja. NAIJA NEWS reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Naija News learned that the attack happened on Friday night after the gunmen blocked the busy road near Ganmi junction for an hour and carried out their nefarious activities.

It was gathered that the bandits regularly blocked the road to kidnap travellers without any challenge from the Nigeria Police Force or any of the security agencies.

Speaking with Daily Trust, one of the villagers, Isah John, disclosed that several vehicles coming from both Kaduna and Bwari axis ran into the blockage. He said two passengers were shot dead by the bandits and several others were kidnapped.NYSC Portal

He said the bandits shot sporadically and in the process, their bullets hit the two passengers, who died immediately, adding that the gunmen operated for about an hour before leaving with the passengers they kidnapped.
