Job Summary
- Lead the smart metering / energy distribution projects and initiatives from planning to complementation, ensuring that projects are executed according to stipulated quality standards, in time and within budget.
Strategic:
- Support business development efforts through client relations, submittals, proposals, presentations, contract negotiations and other related activities.
- Support the design and development of Standard operating procedures and quality management standards for the unit.
Operational:
- Lead the direction of project planning, budgeting, and implementing critical project objectives.
- Manage project budgets.
- Conduct project evaluations and risk reviews.
- Implementation of project quality assurance and safety standards.
- Drive project schedules and manage scope.
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
- Planning technical facilities for supplies, factory assembly, logistics, distribution, and storage.
- Support clients in the project development and management of projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide leadership to project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Degree in Engineering or other related field.

4.) Project Manager (Renewable Energy)
Location: Abuja (FCT
Key Responsibilities
Strategic:
- Support business development efforts including client relations, proposal development, attendance at renewable energy conferences and workshops.
- Support the design and development of Standard operating procedures and quality management standards.
Operational:
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies (occasional travel may be required).
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Project quality assurance.
- Develop and manage project scopes and timelines.
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
- Subcontractor contract selection and negotiation.
- Support clients in the project development and management of projects throughout the project life cycle from development to operational handoff.
- Coordinate external bidding process required to procure goods and services necessary for all phases of project execution, including preparation of bid packages, evaluation of proposals, contract negotiations, and recommendations to top management.
- Support project developers in developing projects and assist risk management as requested to secure power-off take arrangements, financing agreements, equity acquisition agreements, and requests for proposals related to the project sites.
- Work in partnership with development teams to assure a seamless transition of sites into the construction phase.
- Provide leadership to on-site project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Perform commercial and technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contracts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a project manager.
- A Degree in Engineering or other related field.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is a key requirement
- Professional certifications or trainings in project management are key requirements.
