BREAKING: 7 Killed In Imo Rival Cult Clash
Seven people have been killed in Mmaahu Community in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State in a war involving two rival cult gangs. DAILY TRUST reports.
According to DAILY TRUST, Police said that 20 armed men led by one Ossy with their faces masked had on 08/02/2022 at about 10 pm, invaded the community and went to the house of the victims and shot them dead. Information Guide Nigeria

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, CSP Mike Abattam, identified the victims as Charles Mgbarahor, Funky Anane, Charity Nwachukwu, Edeme Okoro, Isaac Ojenya, Ndubuisi Nwabusi, and Junior Ifeyinwoke.
He said that preliminary investigation revealed that the killing had elements of cultism.
He added that “Ossy” is an escapee from Imo Correctional Centre Owerri who is reasonably suspected to belong to a cult group known as “De- Gbam” while the people killed are suspected to belong to another cult group known as “De- Well”. jamb results
