The Nigeria Police, which was formally known as the Nigerian Police Force, is a law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining peace and harmony in the country. The total number of the police force consists of about 372,000 people, but it was approved of late by the federal government that the police staff will increase to about 650,000 police officers because of the insufficient number that can’t stop all the criminal cases.
