We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Quality Advisor III – Projects (Tech)

Location: Lagos

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Quality Management expertise to support Quality Manager as directed
  • Develop early EMCAPS (ExxonMobil Capital Project Management System) deliverables / plans
  • Set expectations and provide input to staffing plan
  • Provide Quality Management execution processes and supporting tools
  • Provide support with complex quality issues as needed
  • Provide Quality input to project planning efforts
  • Assist with interfaces and coordination between Quality and other disciplines
  • Coordinate Quality management activities to ensure consistency, effectiveness across the Project
  • Administer the staffing of project Quality resources to projects
  • Provide orientation and ongoing training of project Quality staff
  • Identify opportunities to support project needs through use of Early Career Professionals
  • Perform periodic audits and assessments, coordinate peer reviews, attend standing meetings, and provide ongoing informal support
  • On-going oversight of project quality execution; analyze project metrics / reports, assist in resolving issues, provide tools, etc.
  • Ensure audits of Contractors, Suppliers and PT are scheduled and conducted; steward audit findings to resolution and closure in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 10-31 years experience.
  • Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of engineering, procurement, or construction activities
  • Recognized Auditor Qualification with demonstrable experience in participating in audits
  • Technical training or high school diploma
  • Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably applying Quality requirements and principles within operational and/or corporate environment
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principles and a process based approach to managing Quality.
  • Demonstrable experience in the development and management of Quality Assurance processes and procedures within the wider “end to end” process.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing accurate contract Quality requirements for goods and/or services contracts based on equipment criticality contract risk.
  • Conduct Functional Assurance on multiple projects to confirm that Project Team (PT) activities are meeting the overall Quality and Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) goals and objectives.
  • Perform Quality Manager role on projects prior to staffing or in absence of the Quality Manager.
  • Provide feedback to Quality Manager on effectiveness of Project Quality Management system as implemented on projects.
  • Identify needs for Functional improvement; participate in Functional initiatives (e.g., tool development, tool maintenance).
  • Represent Project Quality across Functions: Quality overviews, cross-discipline initiatives, etc.

2.) Operations Advisor III – Operations (Tech)

Location: Lagos

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates development of operations and maintenance design philosophies including project specific specifications.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the impact of changes across functional boundaries.
  • Provides technical expertise and facilitates consistent coordination of Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), Global Product Quality Management System (GPQMS)/Global Product Integrity Management System (GPIMS), Hydrocarbon Controls Practices (HCP) matters, Unit Internal Assessment (UIA), and audit preparation.
  • Provides technical expertise and facilitates consistent coordination of risk assessments, incident investigation.
  • Provides functional guidance with respect to technical matters and structural improvements/initiatives in operations and/or manufacturing and may include coordination of improvement plans.
  • Helps coordinate cost management and productivity improvement plans.
  • Provides technical support and input to training development and delivery.
  • Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Supports Operations Management as requested.
  • Develops, maintains and shares best practices.
  • Guides resources that are made available to execute key initiatives.
  • Networks and develops effective relationships with cross-functional representatives and teams, industry associations’ suppliers and resellers/dealers/third parties as appropriate.
  • Develops project plans while identifying application opportunities for lessons learned & best practices sharing.
  • May provide technical expertise and facilitates consistent coordination of conceptual and pre-Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies.
  • May assist with Company Plan preparation and stewardship.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Functional Skills: Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) management – operations and maintenance, managing critical operations and workforce, plant operating technology, maintenance management.

  • Demonstrates sound business judgment, decision-making skills, and customer focus
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills (either formal or informal) and ability to create ownership and commitment to the organization’s purpose
  • Familiarity with SAP and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to drive functional excellence through a willingness to aggressively pursue new and creative approaches to resolve problems; strong willingness to share own expertise and tricks of the trade
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and promote change to achieve desired results
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment

3.) Electrical Engineering Technician I

Location: Lagos

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Verify and issue electrical work permit to contractors for lighting, air condition and motor maintenance
  • Supervise contractors to work safely. Immediately intervene on unsafe acts
  • Participate for Job Safety Analysis (JSA) review with contractors
  • Start work as scheduled. Resolve issue and immediately notify First Line Supervisor (FLS) if issues remain unresolved

1.) Execution Coordinator II – Projects (Tech)

Location: Akwa Ibom

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to the Level 1 tasks, Level 2:

  • Assist the Project Engineer manage the closeout and report on the Risk Assessments conducted on the Project
  • Assist the Project Engineer coordinate the flow of information (write letters, minutes, etc.) from Company to the EPC4 Contractor
  • Assist the Project Engineer interface with the government (e.g. license applications)

  • Experience in Upstream Oil & Gas design, engineering or management in an EPC contracting environment is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline

2.) Lifting Equipment Operator III

Location: Akwa Ibom

Main Function

  • Operates cranes and performs rigging activities to assist maintenance, production, construction, and safety crews as required.
  • Loads and unloads material and equipment in accordance with Company’s specific lifting procedures, including movement of material to the proper locations.
  • Carries out all lifting operations in accordance to safety rules and company regulations. Performs general inspection of cranes prior to operating, including checking condition of wire ropes, brake system, bolts, pins and similar items and reports any potential defect or malfunction to Logistic Supervisor.
  • Responsible for safety of personnel and equipment during operations. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
  • This position would typically be an expert in the field, possibly a professional certification holder.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Twelfth grade (12) secondary education or equivalent certificate plus prior special training on crane operations
  • Experience in operating cranes
  • Must be in possession of current crane operator certificate

3.) Firefighter I – Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (Gen)

Locations: Akwa Ibom and Lagos

Skills and Qualifications

  • Lifting, Physical Fitness, Decision Making, Handles Pressure, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, and Safety Management.

Scope of Work Specific to this Assignment:

  • Protects personnel during emergencies by extinguishing fires, executing rescues, mitigating chemical spills.
  • Prevents fire damage by conducting surveys and inspections for hazards; enforcing codes.
  • Prepares personnel to prevent fire damage by developing and conducting educational and training programs.
  • Ensures availability of water at fire scene by testing hydrants; requesting and expediting repairs; verifying repair. Minimizes fire damage by responding to alarms; driving and operating equipment; regulating water pressure; combating and extinguishing fires; rescuing and reviving personnel.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • The position will receive direction and support.

4.) Inspection Advisor

Location: Akwa Ibom

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership / expertise in quality inspection activities, make judgments and decisions the technical and physical adequacy of associated equipment and systems
  • Provides input to and validate Contractor’s / Supplier procedures for inspection and for testing / examining components
  • Generate, review and revise operational procedures for inspection and test equipment
  • Interface with Quality and Engineering disciplines to provide inspection and testing expertise in the development and review of drawings, procedures and Project plans
  • Support project with the development of method statements and/or examination technique recommendations for equipment inspections; travel to construction and/or fabrication site when requested to review and make technical advice for compliance with specified requirements
  • Coordinate activities of 3rd party and Contractor’s inspectors within discipline, in conjunction with Supplier’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team
  • Utilize Quality Management expertise to perform audits and/or assessments of Contractors / Supplier implementation of inspection activities and document deficiencies
  • Perform supplementary inspections and verifications in accordance with requirements of the Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) and the Project Surveillance Plan(s)
  • Provide early warning of potential quality problems and the expertise to avoid / resolve them

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Engineering or Science preferred with 5-25 years experience
  • Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of procurement or construction activities
  • Manufacturing, fabrication or construction experience related to project scope
  • Recent experience in selected inspection discipline
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support
