5G Services to Be Rolled Out in at Least 4 Odisha Cities by March 2023, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Says
Sunday, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that at least four cities in Odisha will have access to 5G telephony by March 2023 and that 80 percent of the state will have access to the enhanced network by the end of next year.Infomation Guide Nigeria
Approximately 200 major cities in the country would be covered in the initial phase of the launch of 5G services, and coverage will later be expanded to smaller cities and rural regions, he said on the sidelines of a programme here.

Until March 2023, he stated, the first phase of the launch of services of the fifth generation will occur.

In the first phase, at least 13 major cities, including Ahmadabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai, were expected to be served by 5G services.
Additionally, Vaishnaw examined numerous active railway projects in the state.
The work on the Khurda-Bolangir train line has made “impressive progress” he added, adding that there have been some difficulties along the route due to the fact that more than 100 kilometres of railway tracks run through forested areas.
Vaishnaw added that the Bhubaneswar train station will be turned into a world-class facility in the near future.
