The urban area may face this as a little challenge but same cannot be said about the rural area, they see it as a great problem.

I as an example of someone from the village, knows how tough things were even before recession not to talk of during recession.

Prices of commodities are now twice of what its used to be sold; it would have been better assuming commodities are readily available, things are scarce because urban-based citizens have already purchased the limited ones available

Talking about the price, almost every ten days intervals,a commodity with a rate of #10 (bread sold for #50 will be sold for 60 after ten days)

The villagers know little or nothing about family planning, they give birth anyhow, for this reason, life has been very difficult for them

Most of the rural citizens are currently crying and seeking for help but its unfortunate that government`s help will have to get first to the town and urban before(may not even) get to them.

The lives of villagers who sorely depend on agriculture are equally not smiling as there is a new outbreak of dangerous insect that affect crop (mostly tomatoes and maize) in the country while the insecticide for solving this problem is hard to get by because of it expensive price

It will be very uncalled for if I fails to mention how far the government had gone in overcoming this current unwanted situation.

The Buhari-led administration is currently finding ways of tackling this problem,he through the minister of finance Kemi Adeosun, introduced some policies, she also ensure that naira is faring well when compares to other foreign currency

The minister of information Lai Mohammed, came up with an enlightening programs such as ‘change begins with me’ and ‘buy naija made’ all these will help the country to know that they must change for them to see change while the latter tells that if locally made goods are purchased it will enhance the growth of the economy

As the government is finding ways to get out of recession, they should also make provisions for the rural dwellers for their survival because there is no way for progress if the villagers are not producing food product for the country.
