How to Connect NIN to 9Mobile SIM (Via USSD)

The 9mobile NIN code is one of the easiest ways to link NIN to your 9mobile number. It doesn’t require an Internet connection, and it can be done even on a cheap feature phone.Npower Recruitment

Dial *996# to link your 9mobile number to your NIN via the 9mobile USSD code.

After dialling the code, you’ll be presented with three options: Dial 1 if you want to confirm whether your NIN has been successfully linked to your 9mobile number, dial 2 to connect your unique 11-digit NIN, or dial 3 to obtain information about NIN registration centres across the country.

The correct option for you is option 2. So dial 2 and input your NIN to link it to your 9mobile number.

If you have tried the methods above and you are not still sure if it’s been properly linked or you are sure that it didn’t work at all, then you can try linking your 9mobile to your NIN via the NIMC mobile app.WAEC Result

To use the NIMC MobileID app to connect NIN to your 9mobile number, follow the instructions outlined below:

  • First of all, download the “NIMC: MobileID” app from Apple PlayStore (for iPhone users) or Google PlayStore (for Andriod users). If you already have the app installed on your phone, you can skip this step
  • Open the NIMC MobileID app and input your NIN and mobile number. To verify the number, an OTP will be sent to the number.
  • Next, you’ll be required to create a 6-digit password/PIN. Remember to use something you can easily recall because you’ll be required to input the PIN each time you want to access the app’s dashboard
  • On the NIMC MobileID home screen, tap on LINK MY NUMBERS to add and validate your 9mobile numbers
