NYSC Commissions Skills Acquisition Facility In Ogun
Brig-Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim, the Director-General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has commissioned a skill acquisition centre at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Sagamu, Ogun state. Information Guide Nigeria

He disclosed that the NYSC since its inception in 1973 has been one of the dynamic organisations in the country, hence its introduction of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development department in 2012, which is saddled with the responsibility of providing skills and entrepreneurship training for corps members.
He added that the essence was to make the corps members self-employed, in response to the dwindling opportunities for graduate employment. jamb results
According to him, the introduction of SAED NYSC has made a great impact on the training and empowerment of thousands of youths. One of the successes of the programme, he said, was the facilitation of the building of SAED centre in Ekiti, Jigawa, Gombe and Nasarawa states.
