Bishops, Imams Support Ayom For President
Christian and Muslim Clergies from the Northcentral region, on Thursday, endorsed Chief Moses Ayom, to run for the office of Nigeria’s president in the 2023 election. DAILY TRUST reports.
The clergies made their stance when they accompanied Ayom, to pay homage to the President-General of Mdzough U Tiv, retired CP, Iorbee Ihagh, at his home in Makurdi. jamb results

Imam Muhammad Salisu, who spoke on behalf of the Muslim clergies, said that the choice of Ayom was reached after thorough and due consultation based on his antecedents.

Also, Archbishop Edward William who led other Christian clergies from the North Central states, assured that they were standing with Ayom as a credible presidential aspirant for the purpose of equity.
“We are hereby soliciting the support of our well-meaning brothers from the Middle Belt…to all throw their weight and let us support this illustrious son from the Middle Belt in the pursuit of this worth and patriotic call”.
