Meanwhile, From National Stadium, Surulere to Lekki, and from Ikeja to Festac area of Lagos, many of the supporters were seen on Saturday morning carrying posters of the LP candidate and his vice, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, who wore branded vests as they marched around and moved to the bridge leading.
In Uyo, Nigeria, dancers wore traditional clothes and lined up along major roads, chanting “Obi! Obi!” to the beat of traditional instruments. Other Mr. Obi supporters wore Labour Party gear to show their support for him.
In Bauchi, another group of excited people marched in support of Mr. Obi, as seen in a video posted by The Nation on Facebook. Some of them could be seen waving the Nigerian and Labour Party flags and chanting, “Carry me dey go, Obi, carry me dey go, dey go, dey go.“
