The state’s ruling party secured a decisive win, as confirmed by the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC). The PDP’s victory extended to all 16 local government chairmanship seats and the 168 ward councilorship positions up for grabs in the election.

He noted that of the 19 registered political parties, only six participated in the electoral process.
