Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has revealed that his plan was to qualify Nigeria for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and at least go as far as the last eight.Information Guide Nigeria
In his latest interview with Brila shortly after Nigeria were eliminated in the World Cup playoff games by Ghana, Rohr expressed his disappointment at what happened while praising the collective efforts of the Black Stars of Ghana.
“Oh yes there was a big disappointment after this match yesterday(on Tuesday), said Rohr to Brila.

“We had all the hope that Nigeria would qualify and I believe that the better players are in Nigeria not in Ghana.
“But sometimes the collective work of a team can be stronger than the individual strength of the other team.
“My target was to go to the World Cup in Qatar and to go at least to the quarter-final and also to have a good image of Nigerian football like we had in the last five years.” He concluded.JAMB Result
