Thomas Tuchel responds to Marcos Alonso’s decision to stop taking a knee
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has responded to Marcos Alonso’s decision not to ‘take the knee’.
The Spaniard revealed that he will be pointing to the ‘respect’ logo on the jersey rather than joining the team and other players to take the knee.

Ahead of the English Football League cup against Aston Villa, Thomas Tuchel said:
‘Marcos took his decision, and it’s a decision we accept. He gave his reasons and from here, the discussion can end or can go on in a productive way to do more. Information Guide Nigeria
‘Once you do a gesture, everybody does it, it becomes normal. Maybe it lowers the effect of it. If this is [Marcos’] point, I can see it.
